I uploaded some grabs of the Olive dvd for the TCRG Voy Board so I thought I'd post them here too. I think this one could be my favourite:
I'd seriously recommend buying these DVDs. I got mine from Antonio Pacelli - along with the ceili DVDs, these have been a lifesaver.
Hi there. Thank you so much for this... Former dancer who took a very long break from the sport/art and now hoping to start studying for my TCRGs and become a teacher. A little nervous but very excited too. How long in your experience does it take to be ready for these exams? THANK YOU :)
ReplyDeleteNo problem, happy to help!
DeleteI think "how long" depends on how much time you can dedicate to it and how long you've been out of the loop. I know recently-retired dancers that were able to practice and study virtually every day, and they were ready to take the exam in three to six months. My job doesn't give me that much free time and I hadn't competed in 5 years or so, so it's taken me a lot longer. I also didn't rush myself and didn't even apply until I'd learnt the entire book! I think six months to a year is about average.
Good luck!
